Privacy statement

This statement transparently describes which data the Deluism platform processes, for what purpose and which rights affected people possess.

Current services

The current edition focuses on theoretical texts. New newsletter registrations and public consultations are paused. Existing records are retained under the purposes described below; unsubscribe and data requests remain supported when the full site is reopened.

Contact and data-subject rights

Access, correction, deletion or withdrawal may be requested through the contact form. Reasonable identity verification may be required to prevent unauthorised access.

Privacy-preserving audience measurement

The website counts aggregated visits and completed tests, laboratory paths, consultations and newsletter requests by date and page path. The application stores no cookies, IP addresses, device identifiers or personal usage profiles for this purpose. Browser “Do Not Track” signals are respected. Protected editorial pages are not counted.

Public-form protection

To limit automated mass requests, the IP address and browser identifier are combined with a server-side secret into a non-reversible check value. Only that value, form type, hourly window, count and expiry are retained. They are deleted after no more than 48 hours and are not linked to submissions or audience measurement.

Newsletter and double opt-in

Registration stores the email address, consent time, status, language and a random unsubscribe token. It also creates a 48-hour confirmation token stored only as a hash. The subscription becomes active only after confirmation. Delivery events retain the recipient, type, state, attempt count and any error message. Addresses are used solely for Deluism project updates and are neither sold nor shared for third-party advertising.

Public consultation and contributions

Explicit consultation submission stores the selected position, diagnosis, proposed safeguard, named trade-off, optional source, language, time and optional contact address for editorial review. Anonymous quotation requires separate consent; nothing is published automatically. Other contributions retain topic, claim, reasons and proposal on the same basis.

Laboratory access

After a successful password check, laboratory access uses a signed, technically necessary session cookie. It contains no personal data, is not used for analytics and expires after twelve hours.

Editorial system and media

The editorial area is protected by sign-in and a server-side allowlist. Uploaded files are stored separately from metadata and appear publicly only when explicitly released.

Technical provision and email delivery

The platform is provided through ChatGPT Sites and underlying Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting providers may process technically necessary connection and security data. Once email delivery is activated, the expressly named delivery provider processes the email address and technical delivery data required to send messages. The application creates no visitor profiles from them.

Retention

Form-protection values expire after no more than 48 hours. Unconfirmed newsletter registrations and expired confirmations are cleaned up regularly; active subscriptions remain until withdrawal or the end of the service. Consultation and contribution records remain while they are evaluated and documented, and are deleted when no longer needed or when a justified deletion request applies. Aggregated visit and completion counts contain no directly identifying information.

External content

Manifesto, logo, press text and released media are served from the same domain. The website embeds no advertising networks, social-media trackers or external analytics scripts.

Transparency notice

Lou Hälg is named as initiating and editorially responsible person. A role-based email address will be published only once the mailbox is actually established and verified.
