Deluism began with a manifesto in 2026. This website makes the text available and develops the questions it leaves behind.
The starting point
Why this project exists
Political freedom can coexist with very little control over everyday life. The manifesto asks how democratic decisions could extend into the economy, and what would protect people from the communities making those decisions.
The proposal draws on traditions of self-government and cooperative economics. Those connections do not make it a proven social order. Some institutional questions have developed answers; others remain sketches.00
Reading the texts
A principle is not a working institution
Equal rights are a commitment. A proposal for a council is a means of trying to honour that commitment. If the council concentrates power or excludes people, it has to change. Calling it democratic does not settle the matter.
The original manifesto therefore remains a separate source. The web commentaries interpret it, while the dossiers propose institutions that can be challenged on their own terms. Major revisions are recorded publicly.
