The economy is not an end in itself. Production, technology and distribution should meet human needs, democratise work and remain within the planet’s ecological limits.

Deluism rejects an economic order in which private profit decides over well-being, work and the environment. Common benefit, provision, care and the free development of all become the conscious measures of economic decisions.
Guilds are democratically organised associations of the people who produce and work in a field. They determine working conditions, technologies and goals together. Federations of guilds coordinate needs, resources and production from the bottom up.
Surpluses flow back into public goods and new projects; extreme concentration of wealth is limited. Land, knowledge, natural resources and global goods are protected as commons. Material abundance means enough for everyone, not limitless consumption for a few.
Political translation
Workplace councils and guilds democratically decide production, working methods and surpluses.
Federated planning connects local knowledge with social and ecological goals.
Universal provision, open knowledge and limited accumulation prevent new class domination.
